Hey, You don't want to know for how long I have been looking for a serious, strict roleplay server on Minecraft. Just to roleplay with the IC and OOC rules, etc. Unfortunately I have never been able to find one, and that's a real shame, because Minecraft is quite the game you could eventually roleplay in. My idea is, maybe FoCo gaming can host a minecraft server with a neat RPG plugin on it, allowing you to chat local (so only players nearby can hear you) to whisper, shout, etc, and maybe /o, the global OOC chat. Also this server should have strict roleplaying rules, based on LS-RP, but then all in Minecraft. Also it should have a decent amount of playerslots. Also a nickname plugin which allows you to change your nickname (serverspecific) to an actual roleplay name instead of the nickname you use on Minecraft. Also changing skins wouldn't be too hard. You can just chance your skin to a realistic, sane looking outfit. The skindex is the place to be if you suck at creating skins. What about it? I think roleplaying in minecraft can be fun.
I ran a few and know the plugins pretty well. Never considered roleplay. Though unless you know someone who can script, do you know of any mods available? Check Bukkit.org as it's "the" plugin spot everyone goes to.
i had bought the game and would join if i'd get a new computer that could actually run it at least in a browser..
